Holy Trinity Parish TLM @ Renaissance Montessori
Important Notes on the Schedule from Palm Sunday to Easter
Palm Sunday, Apr 2: Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Palms for you to take home will be blessed at the 8:30 a.m. Mass only. (Note that enough palms will be blessed at this Mass so that they will also be available to those attending the noon Mass.) After the blessing of palms at the 8:30, there will be a procession. If the weather cooperates, the procession will go outside.
Holy Week and the Triduum, Apr 3 - 8: Regrettably, one of the restrictions we have is that no TLM Masses may be celebrated during Holy Week, including the Holy Thursday Mass, the Good Friday liturgy and the Easter Vigil Mass. This means that after Palm Sunday, our next TLM Mass at the Oratory will not be until Easter Sunday.
For the Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and the Vigil), Holy Trinity's Novus Ordo liturgies are among the most beautiful in our diocese.
Here is the Holy Trinity (Novus Ordo) schedule during Holy Week at the church:
Palm Sunday, Apr 2, 6:00 p.m.: Penance service with many priests available
Tuesday, Apr 4, 6:00 p.m.: Confessions
Wednesday, Apr 5, 6:30 p.m.: Confessions
Holy Thursday, Apr 6, 7:30 p.m.: Mass of the Last Supper followed by Adoration at the Altar of Repose in the main church until midnight. (NO confessions this day)
Good Friday, Apr 7: Noon, Stations of the Cross; 1:00 p.m., Rosary; 2:00 p.m. Divine Mercy Chaplet; 3:00 p.m., Good Friday liturgy of the Passion of Our Lord
Holy Saturday, Apr 8: Noon, blessing of Easter Food; 8:30 p.m., Easter Vigil
TLM Options during Holy Week: The Arlington Latin Mass Society has put together a list of Holy Week and Triduum TLMs available at FSSP parishes in Richmond, Chesapeake, Va., and Baltimore, as well as those in West Virginia at the priory of the Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem. Note that they have also arranged for shuttle buses from Holy Trinity and other area churches for Good Friday in particular.
Easter Sunday, Apr 9: We will have our regular Sunday schedule on Easter, with Masses at 8:30 a.m. and noon.

Links to Mass Propers
PhoneMissal.com has links to the propers for each day of the year. The iPieta app is another great source to use.
This site was created by Holy Trinity parishioners as a service to fellow parishioners to provide information about our new Mass location and times, because the parish is now prohibited from using the parish bulletin, website, email, or social media to do so.
On September 11, 2022, our Extraordinary Form Mass at Holy Trinity parish in Gainesville, Virginia was relocated to the Renaissance Montessori School gym in Nokesville as a result of restrictions imposed by Pope Francis.
Despite being segregated from friends and neighbors who attend the Ordinary Form Mass at our parish, we remain faithful and active parishioners. We love our parish, our priests and our diocese.
One day, in God's time, we trust that the Traditional Latin Mass will once again be celebrated in our beautiful church where it belongs. Until that day arrives, we will pick up this heavy cross and give glory, honor and thanksgiving to God in our temporary location.
